Home theater has become wildly popular in the last few years and integration can enhance the performance of these systems as well. If a lighting control system is installed, it can often be configured to respond to a home theater's remote control. Pressing a key on the remote can turn on the audio/video components as well as dimming the lights in the theater. Windows and drapes can be programmed to respond to a 'movie' command. A simple connection to a phone system can turn down the audio or pause a movie and display a caller's name and number on the screen when the phone rings. Or a push of the door phone button can pause a movie and switch the display to a camera in the door phone. Once again, the options are only limited by one's imagination.
